The June 23rd, 2007 wedding of Lilaj Segal, to Roman-born Andrea Battista at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami was a romantic beachside event that would rival any Audry Hepburn film! Ruby-red roses were everywhere on the beach, on the aisle, on all the reception tables, and in the elaborately tasteful centerpieces designed by the groom. The magical, dreamlike quality was further enhanced by the spectacular Huppah, hand painted by the renowned Miami pop artist Lebo. Guests attended the sunset ceremony and were treated to a five-course wine pairing feast featuring wild striped bass and grilled Angus entrecote. The ninety-eight guests were asked to check their shoes at the door upon arrival and don flip flops that said "Just Married" ; Dancing (in the sand) took place in front of a large screen showing black and white Italian movies; The Lebo-painted Huppah was divided into three parts, framed and divided among the immediate family.
